The Deadman Soft Shackle is made in the USA and is exceptionally strong and ridiculously lightweight. Made with the same materials used in synthetic winchlines, this soft shackle has a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 30,000lbs and a working load limit (WLL) of 10,000lbs.
Why do we say soft shackles are safer than metal bow shackles (often called D-rings)? With a soft shackle, you remove more metal from your recovery system, thereby lessening the potential for serious harm in the event of a break. As a bonus, soft shackles are often stronger than their metal counterparts and are far lighter, more versatile, and much easier to work with.
